How is it brewed?
Our brewing style is inspired by traditional South Indian filter coffee. It uses a special metal filter where hot water slowly passes through finely ground coffee to produce a rich, concentrated brew (basically a slower-brewed espresso).
How is it different from cold brew?
Cold brew steeps coarse coffee in cool water for 12–24 hours. By contrast, our espresso concentrate uses a hot water-immersion type extraction perfectly set at 80–85°C for 30–45 minutes, delivering a smoother and stronger concentrate, with deeper notes.
Does it have to be diluted?
Yes. Mix 20 ml with 150–180 ml of water or milk (or both) depending on how bold you like it.
How long does it last?
Keep unopened packs at room temperature until the expiry date stated on the packaging. Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 10 days.
Does it need to be refrigerated?
The sachets do not need refrigeration. However, for the pouch, keep refrigerated and consume within 10 days after opening.
Does it contain any sweeteners or preservatives?
Zero sweeteners. Zero preservatives. 100% pure clean coffee.
How do I use the coffee concentrate?
Dilute it with water, milk, or other mixers (creativity encouraged) to your desired strength, as it is a highly concentrated product. Drink it hot or iced, both equally as delicious!
Is your coffee concentrate vegan?
Yes, our coffee concentrate is suitable for vegans. We don’t use milk or dairy in any of our espresso concentrates. It’s made primarily from coffee and water, with no animal-derived ingredients. We’ve also gone a step to verify no traces of these with an internationally recognised third party lab.
Is your coffee concentrate gluten free?
Yes, it is naturally gluten free. Coffee beans themselves do not contain gluten.
Are the coffee beans ethically sourced?
Our coffee beans are single-origin and sourced in the coffee-rich Western Ghats region of India. The plantation holds several prestigious certifications, including Rainforest Alliance for environmental stewardship and UTZ for responsible labour practices, ensuring consistent quality and ethical production.
Are the coffee beans organic?
Whilst the plantation is not organically certified, it adheres to organic practices and it does not use insecticides or pesticides.
Can I travel with it?
Of course - our single use sachets are a perfect travel companion to be used on the go. Tip: it’s also great for keeping it at your desk in the office if you’re anything like us and hate office coffee.
